Inspiration  
The painting, titled “Til Death,” is a tribute to the legendary comic characters Deadpool and Wolverine, their legacy but also a reflection of my inner strength as an artist. It stands as a testament to the opportunity given to me by Riches Art Gallery, whose powerful motto, “Til Death Give Us Art,” inspired me throughout the creative process.
As I reflected on this theme, the idea of immortality resonated deeply. Just as Deadpool and Wolverine survive every battle, I believe art has the power to live forever, carrying the spirit of the creator far beyond their lifetime.
I’ve re-imagined these iconic characters, placing their battle on Congress Avenue, with the Austin skyline as the background. Connecting the story to my home city.
Like Deadpool and Wolverine, my art will endure. Til Death… because legends, in whatever form they take— never truly die.
